Raw Propolis

A wonderful product that nature gives us.

The bees produce it in their bodies to protect their "city" (Greek: pólis) from disease. The resinous mass with antibiotic, antifungal and antiviral effect ensures in the hives that despite the ideal conditions in a hive (35 ° C high humidity) do not spread diseases. Propolis is used by the bees to fill in smaller holes or coat the honeycomb cells of the brood.

The mode of action against fungi, bacteria and microorganisms has now been scientifically proven. But where does this fantastic effect come from? Well, the bee itself is a marvel of nature. Because they actually mix "only" what they find in their bodys into a true miracle cure. To preserve bio propolis? In ancient Egypt, mummies were embalmed with propolis. Bio Propolis consists mainly of resinous substances about 55%, which the bees on wounds of trees (in Switzerland birch, beech, alder, spruce, horse chestnut) or on the buds. These inherently valuable ingredients, which can vary greatly due to their location, are further processed together with wax and pollen. What comes out of it is a natural product that probably can not exist synthetically in this way. The bees do not have this wonderful substance in abundance. An entire bee colony produces just 50 to 500 grams per year.

The question of location is a decisive issue with raw propolis. There where forests are still original, is the ideal place to collect our raw propolis. Our raw propolis is rich in flavonoids, which also have beneficial effects on humans (chrysin, galanghin, pinocembrin, pinobankine acetate, prenylflavonoid, isonymphaeol-B, nymphaeol-A, nymphaeol-B and nymphaeol-C). Also rubber, phenols (cinnamic acid, coumaric acid, caffeic acid, ferulic acid, isoferulic acid), so a whole pharmacy full of active substances.
